The Resource Center provides investors with the tools they need to make informed and strategic investment decisions. It is a handy guide that provides perspective and understanding on how markets react to economic and political events.

Econoday's weekly articles cover events the world over and are produced weekly by our head economists. Simply Economics covers domestic markets while International Perspective focuses on global conditions and central bank activity on four continents. Access to these articles will keep investors' fingers on the pulse of the U.S. and global economy by recapping market activity and the economy while looking ahead to next week's events in an easy-to-read format filled with graphs, tables and analysis.

The Bond Markets section has detailed monthly information on corporate and government bonds and treasury bills and their interaction with economic events, along with information on upcoming treasury auctions. Charts include lots of historical information on rates, corporate risk spread and more. Expert analysis and commentary provides guidance to both the new and experienced investor which can impact investment decisions on not only government securities, but also other financial instruments, such as ETFs.

Monthly performance information on key market indexes, such as the Dow Jones and S&P families can be found in the Equity Markets section. For example, investors can see up-to-date short and long-term perspectives on the Dow Jones Transportation Average which may provide an early signal of the direction the Dow Jones Industrial Average is headed.

Econoday's Fed Watching section is one of the most comprehensive resources available for understanding the Federal Reserve and keeping track of – and anticipating – its moves. It contains a wealth of information that explains everything from the basics of Fed actions to the 'sport' of Fed Watching. It contains charts and analysis on dozens of indicators that influence the Fed's decisions.

The Chart Room provides guidance for investment decisions at a glance by featuring charts and commentary on several sectors of the economy, including production & sales, inflation and interest rates. For example, investors can view short and long-term trends in housing starts which can clearly affect corporate profits.

Country Profiles contains information on the economic performance of several countries, their markets and vital information on major central banks, including the Federal Reserve, European Central Bank, the Banks of England, Canada and Japan, and the Reserve Bank of Australia.

Event Definitions provides investors with all-inclusive information on all the global indicators and events. This section not only defines and explains the events, but more importantly relates these events to an economy's markets, sectors and overall conditions to give investors the information they need to take strategic control of their portfolio when new events occur.
